Homemade foie shavings


Our original foie recipe keeps on gaining new fans. It’s not mi-cuit, it’s not raw… it’s delicious! Our foie has become one of the hallmarks of La Taberna de Lesseps. We present our goose foie with a cranberry balsamic dressing.

CROQUETTES


A La Taberna’s classic starter. Delicious handmade croquettes. A rich bechamel is the perfect complement to the acorn-fed Iberian cured ham or to cod. We coat them with breadcrumbs and fry them just before serving to offer perfectly crispy and very tasty croquettes.

The true Iberian pig lives in complete liberty, fed solely on acorns. Care at the hands of experts makes the miracle of acorn-fed Iberian cured ham possible. At La Taberna de Lesseps we only serve the best acorn-fed Iberian cured ham, cut with a knife just before serving.

Our artichoke chips are loved by everyone. Finely sliced artichokes lightly dipped in flour and fried. The leaf is crunchy and the heart is juicy. The perfect accompaniment to the foie shavings.

Attention! These are not “a la llauna” (baked); they are “a la brasa” or grilled over charcoal embers. They are cooked with our special touch and personal method. Fans of snails will find this tasty dish a very interesting choice.


Cantabrian ANCHOVIES

with roasted pepper


Anchovy fillets from the Cantabrian Sea, carefully seasoned by hand and cleaned one by one, with extra virgin olive oil and accompanied by roasted red pepper. A good “pà amb tomàquet” on the side is a must.
